Competing in a UCI World Cup round for the first time in Glasgow was new Japanese outfit Dream Seeker, the brainchild of Olympian and keirin star Yudai Nitta.
Dream Seeker is a unique concept in track cycling. While the team's on-track focus is on youth development and supporting the Olympic qualification of its senior riders, they also seek to raise money for the victims of the Fukushima disaster.
You can find out more about Dream Seeker here, and read the extraordinary history of keirin racing in Japan – including an interview with Yudai – in Conquista issue 10, available from our website here.
Photographer Chris Auld got some great shots of Yudai and the team in their all-new kit.
