The stage was won by Kasia Niewiadoma (RLT) from Amy Pieters (WHT) with Chantal Blaak (DLT) in third and taking over the leader's jersey. Early breakaways and a tough course in the final kilometres created several splits in the peloton. CANYON//SRAM Racing had Amialiusik and last year's tour winner Lisa Brennauer in the front group. "Lisa and I were both sharing the work in the front group. There were some attacks from our group but we were present in every move and we worked well together." [powr-media-gallery id=6c6204e0_1472756111] "In the last 5km Ronny (Lauke) told me to do the work for Lisa and we would try for her in the final. It wasn't really a finish for me because after the final small climb there was a false flat for about 300m. But in the end I was in a better position than Lisa. I tried to sprint but they passed me on the flat section." Amialiusik is positive for the remaining three stages of the tour. "In general I feel good. In the stage today we raced well together and we're looking forward to another chance tomorrow." Stage four tomorrow is a 115km stage around the city of Tiel. Racing starts at 13:00 (CEST) and can be followed on the team's Twitter @WMNcycling and using #BRLT16.
