“I wanted to capture the beauty and emotion of my friends cycling the Col de Joux Plane, this historic Tour de France climb in the early morning light.
The sun had just risen over the mountain top presenting this magical landscape of the the Col de Joux Plane with Mont Blanc in the back ground.
I managed to fire this shot off with the cyclist moving across the landscape which totally made this image, capturing the moment I had envisaged.
The emotion came with additional shots at the CdJP summit waiting for everyone to arrive.”
