We featured this race in Issue 3 of Conquista and also the beautiful Neversink race in Issue 4, brought to you by the same organiser.
Below is the video from the Red Hook Crit which is superb. There are so many aspects to this type of racing that are appealing. Firstly, it is off the grid in terms of not being sanctioned by the UCI. The second is the passion of the racers from around the world. Thirdly, it is riding a track bike on a street circuit. Fourth is the camaraderie which is something unique and understood by those of us that love the sport.
