The bike is a 1969 Schwinn Twinn tandem, discovered at a bicycle flea market in Ohio last year by Shinola, has received a full makeover. All of the original parts removed to be cleaned, paint stripped, the shiny new edition receives a coat of gloss black, with the Shinola lightening bolt logo applied to the chainguard and the original head tube badge riveted to the front of the bike. Ressurected, “a fine showcase of found craftsmanship,” this one time only deal will be available on the Shinola’s website soon.
